From intake to invoice.

Job cards that take a repair from intake to a GST invoice — parts, labor and advances included.

  • Numbered job cards with device details, accessories received and the reported problem
  • Estimates the customer approves before work starts — in person, on phone or WhatsApp
  • Parts used come straight off your inventory at real cost; labor lines from your catalog
  • Advances counted in the drawer the day you take them, netted automatically on the final bill

A repair shop’s paperwork lives on slips: which AC came in, what the customer said was wrong, whether the charger was in the bag, how much advance was taken. When a slip goes missing, the argument that follows costs more than the repair.

Bazaar IQ replaces the slips with a numbered job card. Intake takes a minute — customer, device, accessories received, the problem in the customer’s own words — and from then on everyone in the shop can answer “where is my AC?” by looking at the board, not by asking around.

Estimates the customer said yes to

Build the estimate from your own catalog — parts at your prices, labor as line items — and record how the customer approved it: in person, on a call, or over WhatsApp. When the bill comes later, it matches a number the customer already agreed to.

Parts and money that stay honest

When a technician fits a capacitor, it comes off your inventory at that moment, at real cost — so stock counts and profit stay true even while the device is on the bench. An advance goes into the cash drawer on the day it is taken, and the final GST invoice nets it off automatically. Nothing is counted twice, and nothing disappears.

A repair, end to end

Here is the whole flow for one AC that stopped cooling:

  1. Intake — the customer walks in (or books a home visit). One minute later there is a job card: JOB/26-27/00042, Voltas 1.5T split, remote received, “not cooling”, ₹300 advance in the drawer.
  2. Diagnosis & estimate — the technician finds a failed capacitor. The estimate — capacitor at your price plus a service visit charge — goes to the customer, and their yes is recorded on the card.
  3. Repair — the capacitor is fitted and comes off inventory at cost, that moment. Stock and profit stay true while the job is still open.
  4. Delivery — one tap builds the GST invoice: parts + labor, the ₹300 advance already netted off, the repair warranty date stamped on the job. The bill lands in Today’s Sales like any other.

At every step, anyone at the counter can answer “where is my AC?” — and six months later, the card still shows what was fitted, who approved what, and when the warranty ran out.

On when you need it

Repair Jobs is switched off by default. A retail counter never sees it; a service shop — or a mobile shop that sells and repairs — turns it on from Settings in one tap.
